Bold And Futuristic Design Language

In terms of looks and traditional scooter designs, the Xoom 160 runs miles away with sharp angular bodywork and aggressive throw. A visible twin-pod LED headlamp equipped with DRLs creates a unique front profile, while the muscular rear section gives a sporty persona. Hero employed touches of premium such as sculpted seats, alloy wheels, and dual-tone color combinations which boost premium appeal.

Vibrant 160Cc Engine Performance

Powering the Xoom 160 is a newly developed 160cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivering 14.5 bhp and 13.5 Nm of torque. This fuel-injected powerplant offers strong acceleration and a top speed of around 100 km/h, which makes it stand to be one of the most powerful scooters in its class. Hero has tuned the CVT transmission for responsive performance while ensuring decent fuel efficiency of around 45 kmpl.

Loaded For Techy Riders

Hero has loaded the Xoom 160 with class-leading features like an all-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. The Bluetooth console receives call alerts, SMS notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation. Practical features include a massive underseat storage compartment (which can hold a full-face helmet), USB charging, and an optional fast-charging dock. LED lights offer great visibility, and single-channel ABS helps with braking confidence.

Sporty Yet Comfortable Ergonomics

Ergonomics set an impressive balance between an aggressive riding posture and everyday comfort. The wide handlebar offers good leverage while the floorboard offers multiple possible foot placements. Suspension settings of telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear are catered toward Indian road conditions, giving a plush ride without compromising handling. With just 125 kg of kerb weight, it is easy to handle in city traffic and remains stable at high speeds.

Pricing And Competitive Positioning

Estimated to be priced between ₹1.25-1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), the Xoom 160 targets the performance scooter space as a premium but available choice. To encourage customization, Hero intends a bevy of accessories, including performance upgrades and styling kits.
